Do -it -yourself installation of stainless steel railing

Stainless steel is a doped steel resistant to corrosion and mechanical influences. It is for this reason that stainless steel is increasingly chosen to create railings.

What to prepare before installing with your own hands of stainless steel railing

Naturally, all the necessary tools should be prepared so that the process of installing such a fence does not drag on an indefinite time. And first of all, at hand, the home master should be:

shock drill;

Bulgarian;

screwdriver;

level;

hexagonal key;

various drills (for work on concrete, cobalt, etc.);

cutting disk for metal;

polishing circle from felt;

self -tapping screws;

Anchor bolts;

Epoxy glue.

In addition, adjustable tips and embedded parts for racks, as well as barrel -shaped reinforcements should be prepared.

How to independently install railing made of stainless steel

Prepare a sketch of future railings

This will help prepare the right number of details and help not be confused when installing.

Prepare the first two racks

It should be borne in mind that the height of the stainless fence is standardly 90-95 centimeters. Accordingly, from 95 cm, the height of the tip must be taken away to get the final size of the rack.

Remember: the stand is considered ready when the tip, a spoon is fixed on it and a cap, washer is installed.

Install the first two racks

For this, a mortgage part is used, which is standardly used in laying water – or gas pipelines. It has a wall thickness of approximately 3.2 mm and inner diameter 25 mm.

This part is applied to the lowest stage with an indent from the edge of 5 cm, and it is made marking. After that, a hole is drilled into which the anchor bolts are inserted, and with their help the embedded part is attached.

Remember: at this stage you should definitely check the vertical of the racks.

Install all embedded parts

In this case, while the following mortgages are installed, the first must be treated with epoxy glue to fix the racks in them.

Remember: racks are always made and installed alternately, since the height of the steps in different places may vary.

Install the handrail

Take the necessary material, for example, the p50 pipe, and cut the desired size from it. If the fence is with a turn, then the size is measured from the beginning of the railing and until this turn.

Remember: such work should be done together.

Put the railing on a spoon and make the necessary mark. Drill holes and fix the handrail using self -cutting screws. In the event that the railing goes with a turn, then you should use the embedded for the railing and the bouncers.

Install the crossbars

Fasten the barrel -shaped crossers on the rack, insert the strings of the desired size into them, install the plugs on the crossbars.

By and large, this is a rather simple and short -lived process of installing railings from stainless steel.
