DIY concrete mixer: 2 manufacturing options.

If you started to carry out construction work, and you only have funds for the purchase of the necessary building materials, and for the most important construction equipment – there is no means of concrete mixer, we suggest that you consider the options for making it yourself.

If you have a slight building planned, then you can knead a cement mortar for several liters and manually. However, for large work, it is most ergonomic to purchase a concrete mixer in Ukraine, which will knead up to several tens of liters in one kneading. We want to offer useful tips for constructing concrete mixers with your own hands for one day. Thus, you will acquire a fairly useful thing in the household.

Making manual concrete mixers

Making manual concrete mixers is the easiest and fastest design to construct. The main links in design will be a regular barrel and frame. The frame for the barrel can be made of cooked metal rods and corners.

It is necessary to take a barrel with a volume of at least 100 liters, and on both sides it is necessary to drill a sufficient hole so that there you can install a shaft with an angle of inclination of 30 degrees. To the bottom of the barrel, flanges with bearings are mounted. The next stage of work is devoted to the boot opening, which will be located on the side of the barrel. The whole structure should be mounted on the frame, which will be made of cooked corners.

The entire constructed design, if desired, can either be fixed in the ground, or stable on the surface of the earth.

Designing an electric concrete mixer

The second option for manufacturing an electric concrete mixer is more complex, and requires a longer time. We will need a metal reservoir, which will be drilled in a sufficient volume on both sides to attach a shaft with a drum. The loading hole can be performed as described in the first version. At the bottom, it is necessary to weld a gear crown to which a gear with a slightly smaller diameter will be attached. In order for you to get an electronic concrete mixer, you need to weld the pipe to the tank, add a bearing with a larger diameter, and connect the shaft with the engine.

You can also supplement the resulting design with wheels, in which case the concrete mixer will become mobile, and it will be much more convenient for you to operate it.
