Characteristic.
Thermal insulation of various building structures today is mainly carried out using basalt mineral slabs. At the moment, this is the best material for such purposes. The material is based on artificial mineral fibers. In the production of basalt plates, the following operations are performed – they receive a melt, and later they turn it into the finest fibers. At the same time add binding and hydrophobizing materials.
Description of the article:
For the manufacture of basalt mineral slabs, the fiber is used, which is obtained by melting basalt rocks (t = 1500 degrees Celsius). Then, inorganic binding material, the fibers are connected to each other. Next, the processes of vacuum toppting and thermal drying occur. Basalt slabs have good indicators of strength, elasticity, they are easy to cut and glue.
Corrosion resistance
Another distinguishing properties of such a material is density, resistance to corrosion, supplement during cutting, and this makes it possible to lay a layer of thermal insulation in the roof of any, even the most complex structure, with a decrease in the load on the foundation.
The use of basalt plates
Ecologists are also a fire resistant pure basalt plate, and when exposed to fire, toxic substances are not released. You can operate the material up to 70 years. Also, plates also absorb and regulate noise. The ability to withstand the most complex climatic phenomena is due to the properties: water -repellent, chemical and biological stability. The area of its application also depends on the density of the plate:
– for insulation of non -loaded enclosing structures (vertical, horizontal, inclined) buildings of all types;
– as material to the device of the ceiling, floor and internal partitions;
– They insulate the light enclosing structures of the frame type, in buildings with a small number of floors of the plate perform the function of the middle heat -insulating layer (if the walls are three -layer lightweight);
– When arranging the facade structures, basalt mineral slabs are used as an external heat-sound insulation, they are further plastered or applied by a protective-cooperative layer;
– like the upper heat-sound-insulating layer in coatings of flat roofs.
Mineral basalt slabs are universal, durable, flexible and environmentally friendly material.
