Lattice flooring – building materials of our time

The pace of improvement of construction today has stepped far ahead and now there are a huge number of requirements for buildings: strength, reliability, relatively low price and small weight of the structure. The lattice flooring can please all these requirements.

Application

Previously, this material was used only for production purposes and the chemical industry for the construction of barriers, fences and access platforms. But today it is already used in many sectors: the construction of bridges and overpasses, fire departments, in road transport construction.

Properties

The lattice flooring can demonstrate the best properties inherent in building materials. Due to its stability and inertia in relation to weather conditions, it can be used both for external work and for internal structures.

Varieties

By production methods, pressed and welded species are distinguished. Pressed type R flooring is carried out without welding, and the stripes are connected as follows – the cover stripes are inserted into the slots and with the help of pressure under 500 tons of weight, they are impressed. Due to the fact that today designers were able to decorate even a metal product, this type of flooring can be used for any work. The next type is a welded flooring, made using a similar press technology, but at the same time welding is used. This type has high resistance to deformation at pressure and rough, anti -slip surface. The last characteristic is important if the lattice flooring is planned to be used in rooms where there are oils or the possibility of icing.

Thanks to the improved qualities of the SP flooring, it is now widely used in shipbuilding, the construction of buildings of the electric power complex, towers for oil production.

Types of cellular lattice flooring

Often it happens that during the construction of warehouse rooms it is necessary to make racks in such a way that the objects lying on them are visible – it will help to provide cellular flooring. Its subspecies are lattices with a corner border (for racks of different species), blind gratings (for places where the transparency of building materials is undesirable), integral (for construction, where high pressure will be carried out on the surface), proximal (jewelry of streets, curbs, squares).

The small cost of the lattice floor makes the material affordable for each buyer, the simplicity of installation and dismantling helps to use the flooring for temporary structures or buildings. And the structure of the material allows you to create natural lighting in the room and ventilation.
