Investments in residential buildings: rules and recommendations

Most cities are designed in such a way that the most expensive houses are built in the central part. The center is prestigious. All the necessary infrastructure is there: schools, kindergartens, shops, hospitals and entertainment centers.

There are no problems with transport in the center and in general everything is close by. The center is the heart of the city, where old, often pre-revolutionary, houses stand next to modern glass and metal towers.

The old residential areas are a little cheaper. They were built in the 70s and 80s. In those years, they were considered the outskirts, but now they are just a few steps from the center. There is infrastructure and transport here, but the land is a little cheaper.

In remote areas, real estate is the cheapest. But new residents will have a hard time there: gravel roads, undeveloped yards, lack of schools and kindergartens are unlikely to brighten up life. They promise to launch public transport sometime later, but it takes more than an hour to get to the center. If you are taking a home for resale, then it is better to immediately exclude the center and outskirts. Apartments in the central region are less profitable due to their high cost, so it will take you longer to sell such an investment property. With remote areas, the story is the opposite – it’s cheap there, but because of this, income will be somewhat less. The best choice is to buy an apartment in a good residential area. This is a liquid and acceptable option in terms of the initial and selling price.
