Plywood under the laminate.
The floors from the laminate gain more and more popularity among the population, and this happens not only because they look great, easy to care, but also because they are much more convenient to lay than a parquet board. However, here you should comply with certain conditions. So, in order for the laminated floor to lie evenly and without flaws, a professional approach is needed when laying it. And the primary basis of this process is the presence of a flat basis. As such a basis, as the leading manufacturer of plywood Moscow claims, plywood for laminate is perfect (usually chosen plywood of the FC class, since it is best suited for decoration indoors, especially since its thickness coincides with the requirements: it should not exceed 15 mm). In order not to spend extra money, you do not need to choose a higher quality plywood, since this plywood class will fully fulfill its function: to ensure a flat surface to lay laminate.
As a rule, plywood under the laminate is laid on an already prepared surface (screed, self -powerful floor, etc. p.), fastening to it is carried out using glue and screws. To make it more conveniently, you can cut plywood sheets into several parts, which should be laid several with a displacement, so that the corners do not quite match.
Last advice: so that additional correction is not required and, accordingly, expenses, special attention must be paid to screed – its flat surface should not be subject to any doubt.
